Zambia is rich in copper resources, and small and medium-sized copper mines are the main force of local copper production. A 100TPH simple copper ore dressing line in Zambia has been put into operation stably, adopting a simple and efficient process to realize the preliminary separation of copper ore, bringing stable economic benefits to the mine owner.
### Project Overview
Project Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Processing Material: Copper ore (copper grade 1.2-2.0g/t, simple mineral composition, low mud content)
Production Capacity: 100TPH (daily output 2,400 tons)
Process Flow: Crushing → screening → simple flotation → concentrate collection
Core Equipment: Jaw crusher, hydraulic cone crusher, vibrating screen, simple flotation machine, concentrate filter press

### Process Design & Advantages
The project adopts a "crushing + screening + simple flotation" process, which is suitable for small and medium-sized copper mines with limited investment and insufficient professional technical personnel. The crushing stage adopts "primary crushing + secondary crushing" process: the jaw crusher crushes large copper ore blocks (≤400mm) into ≤100mm particles, and the hydraulic cone crusher further crushes the materials into ≤15mm particles, which is conducive to the subsequent flotation separation.
The screening stage uses a 2-layer vibrating screen to separate the crushed materials into two grades: ≥15mm (return to secondary crushing for reprocessing) and 0-15mm (enter the flotation stage). The simple flotation machine adopts a single flotation tank, which is simple to operate and low in energy consumption. It uses a small amount of flotation reagent to separate copper minerals from gangue, and the copper concentrate (copper grade ≥22%) is collected as finished product.
### Operation Effect
The production line has the advantages of simple operation, low maintenance cost and high copper recovery rate (≥83%). Local workers can master the operation skills after 4 days of training, which solves the problem of insufficient professional technical personnel in local mines. The daily output of copper concentrate reaches 30kg, and the annual output value is about 1.5 million US dollars.
