Slag grinding is a crucial step in producing slag powder, and its efficiency and quality have a significant impact on production costs and the final product. As the core equipment in this process, the LM series slag vertical roller mill plays a vital role. It integrates multiple functions, not only crushing and grinding materials but also drying and classifying them, ensuring the continuity and stability of production. This not only improves production efficiency but also helps ensure the quality of the final product.

Slag raw materials are transported to the plant by loading trucks, then fed through unloading hoppers onto belt conveyors, and finally transported to a slag stockpile for drying and storage. The slag in the stockpile is removed by a loader, precisely metered by a receiving hopper and a quantitative feeder, and then conveyed to an elevator via belt conveyor. This series of processes ensures accurate metering and efficient transportation of raw materials, laying the foundation for subsequent production stages. During the conveying process, the slag raw material passes through an iron remover and a vibrating screen for iron removal and screening, and then is fed into the LM vertical slag mill for grinding via conveying equipment and other airlock feeding devices.
The ground slag powder is then filtered by an air classifier using hot air supplied by a hot blast furnace, and simultaneously dried. Slag powder meeting the fineness requirements is collected by a dust collector and then transported by an air conveyor chute and elevator to the finished product warehouse for storage.
