Jiangxi Jiujiang Hengjin New Material Group has successfully obtained the mining right of Sanfan Mine in Pengze County, with a total investment of RMB 5.3 billion, and constructed in two phases, the first phase has been completed for trial production, and the second phase is planned to be completed by the end of 2024. Recently, Jiangxi Jiujiang Hengjin New Material Group Co., Ltd. has successfully obtained the mining right licence at Sanfan Mine in Huangling Township, Pengze County, a milestone progress marking that the mine is about to be officially put into production. It is understood that the total investment of Sanfan mine is about 5.3 billion yuan, and the resource reserves are as high as 199 million tonnes, of which about 160 million tonnes of greywacke reserves and 40 million tonnes of dolomite reserves. The project is divided into two phases of construction, a phase has been completed and trial production, with an annual output of 8 million tonnes; the second phase is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024, when the annual production capacity will reach 30 million tonnes. The promotion of this large-scale project will undoubtedly inject new vitality into the sand and gravel aggregate market of Jiangxi and even the whole country.

Hengjin New Material promptly signed the Mining Right Grant Contract with the Pengze County Natural Resources Bureau after winning the bid for the mining right, and in July 2022, it started the construction of the project. The project adopts advanced rotary plus impact shaping process, and also deploys dry and water washing lines to ensure product quality. The products are widely used in asphalt, bridges, high grade concrete and other fields, and the content of dolomite magnesium oxide is as high as 21-23%, which meets the raw material demand of steel mills, glass mills and magnesium metal refining.

It is worth mentioning that Sanfan Mine has an excellent geographical location, situated in the middle mountainous area on the south bank of Yangtze River, close to the harbour along the Yangtze River in Pengze County, with convenient land and water transport. With a storage and supply capacity of 1 million tonnes of crushed stone, a dedicated transport corridor and a freight wharf with an annual throughput of 30 million tonnes, Hengjin New Material has achieved the goal of efficient transportation of products and radiation to the core area of the Yangtze River Delta.
