Primary Crushing Stage: The main processing equipment is the jaw crusher, supported by a vibrating feeder.

Primary Crushing Process: The vibrating feeder conveys large blocks of coal gangue into the jaw crusher, ensuring that the material is crushed uniformly and at a controlled rate. The crushed material is discharged from the outlet and transported via a belt conveyor to the medium and fine crushing section for further processing.

Medium and Fine Crushing Stage: The main processing equipment is the impact crusher, supported by a vibrating screen.

Medium and Fine Crushing Process: The coal gangue fragments resulting from the primary crushing stage are conveyed directly by a belt conveyor into the impact crusher for secondary crushing. The crushed material is discharged from the outlet and transported via another belt conveyor to a vibrating screen for classification. The screened material is then separated into two streams: larger-sized particles are returned to the impact crusher for further crushing, while smaller-sized particles are sent directly to the sand-making section for processing.

Sand-Making Stage: The main processing equipment is the sand-making machine, supported by a vibrating screen.

Sand-Making Process: The coal gangue particles, having undergone secondary fine crushing, are conveyed directly into the feed inlet of the sand-making machine via a belt conveyor. The sand-making machine subjects the coal gangue particles to further processing—crushing and shaping them—to ultimately produce coal gangue sand with a uniform grain size of less than 5mm.

If sand washing is required, a sand washing machine and a fine sand recovery unit can be purchased to meet specific needs.

Given the scarcity of natural sand and manufactured sand resources—and the resulting shortage of aggregates within the sand and gravel industry—the production of sand from coal gangue represents a form of waste recycling. Characterized by abundant raw material sources and low production costs, this practice is currently a highly popular and trending solution.
