Fluorite Ore Application Fields

Fluorite ore is also the basic raw material of fluorine chemical industry, and its products are widely used in aerospace, aviation, refrigeration, medicine, pesticides, anticorrosion, fire extinguishing, electronics, machinery and atomic energy and other fields. Fluorite ore characteristics

Fluorite ore belongs to the isometric crystal system, the crystal type is mostly cubic, a few for the rhombic dodecahedron and octahedron, more than the formation of interspersed double crystal. The aggregate is dense block, occasionally earthy block. Hardness of 4, brittle, complete disintegration, specific gravity of 3.18, melting point 1360 ℃. Fluorite ore is generally insoluble in water, with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid rent weak, in the hot concentrated sulfuric acid can be completely dissolved and generate hydrogen fluoride gas and calcium sulfate.


Beneficiation and processing technology
