Mechanized sand, also known as manufactured sand or artificial sand, is a type of artificially manufactured sand used in construction and engineering. It is obtained by processing and remodeling natural stone and has physical and chemical properties similar to those of natural sand.
The following is a common method of preparing mechanism sand:
1. Selection of raw materials: choose the raw materials suitable for the preparation of mechanism sand, which are usually rocks with high hardness, such as granite, limestone, basalt and so on. These rocks need to be crushed and screened to get the stone materials that meet the requirements.
2. Crushing and screening: The selected rocks are first crushed at the bottom by coarse crusher, and then the crushed materials are conveyed to fine crusher through conveyor for the next step of crushing. After crushing, it should be smaller in size. Then through the screening equipment, the crushed stone will be classified according to different particle sizes.
3. Washing and dust removal: through the vibrating screen to sieve out different stones, generally speaking, divided into two categories, after screening, a part of it can be used as a substrate, the other part of the return material should be fine dissection, and then through the sand machine part of the sand to be made into sand. After cleaning, it can be made into finished sand. The other part should be thrown into the sand making machine, crushing again.
4. Shape adjustment: After washing and dusting the stone, may also need to shape adjustment, so that it is more in line with the requirements of the mechanism of sand. Usually granule molding machine or impact crusher is used for the operation, so that the stone particles have uniform shape and size.
5. Sand blending: according to the need, different particle sizes and shapes of stone materials can be mixed according to a certain proportion in order to get the mechanism sand that meets the specific requirements.
6. Testing and quality control: Testing and quality control of the prepared mechanism sand, including testing of particle distribution, density, mud content, aggregate strength and other indicators. This can be accomplished by methods such as laboratory testing and on-site sampling and testing.
Through such a production line, it can bring the effect of low cost and high crushing rate, and the whole operation process is automated, which avoids pollution and saves energy very well. The mechanism sand produced in the later stage meets the standards of national construction, with uniform particles and rationalization.
