1. In metal ore dressing plants, there are various crushing processes, among which the three-stage closed-circuit crushing and screening process is more common, but there are also two-stage open-circuit or closed-circuit processes. In the three-stage process, the first stage of coarse crushing usually uses a jaw or gyratory crusher to be responsible for the initial crushing of large pieces of ore. Then comes the medium crushing stage, which mainly uses a standard cone crusher for further refinement. In the third stage of fine crushing, a short-head cone crusher is often used to achieve a more detailed crushing effect. For those ore dressing plants with smaller processing volumes, the third stage of fine crushing can also be completed by a double-roll crusher. This design is designed to adapt to the needs of ore dressing of different scales and improve production efficiency.

2. In the two-stage one-closed-circuit crushing process, the latter stage often uses a medium-sized cone crusher. For small-scale ore dressing plants or when processing brittle materials, in order to improve efficiency and adaptability, impact crushers or hammer crushers can be selected to meet the crushing needs of different scales and material characteristics.

In addition to following the above principles, the selection of crushers must also consider the characteristics of the materials, production capacity, etc., so that the appropriate crusher can be selected.
