Manganese is widely distributed in nature and is found in almost all kinds of ores and silicate rocks. The more common manganese ores are anhydrous and aqueous manganese oxide and manganese carbonate, of which the most important and economically valuable are soft manganese ore and hard manganese ore, and there are also hydromanganese ore, brown manganese ore, black manganese ore, rhodochrosite and so on. The content of manganese in these minerals can reach about 50-70 per cent, and they are important industrial minerals of manganese. In addition, manganese ore can usually be decomposed by acid.

Manganese Ore Processing Technology
Manganese ore processing production process mainly includes three processes: crushing, grinding and beneficiation. Firstly, the manganese ore is crushed and screened by jaw crusher and hydraulic cone crusher, and then the manganese powder is evenly sent to ball mill for grinding by screening machine, and screened by spiral classifier, and the manganese powder which does not meet the requirement is sent to ball mill to continue grinding; then the manganese powder which meets the requirement of beneficiation is sent to magnetic separator to carry on the strong magnetic separation, and magnetic separation to remove the impurities; after that, the manganese powder will be sent to the drying machine to dry and then manganese powder can be obtained.
