First, capacity

The capacity of the gyratory crusher is between 2015-8895 tons/hour, while the capacity of the jaw crusher is between 12-1510 tons, which means that the former has a higher capacity;

Second, the feed size

The feed size of the gyratory crusher is between 0-1350mm, while the feed size of the jaw crusher is between 0-1280mm, which means that the former can handle larger materials;

Third, use

1. The gyratory crusher has a complex structure, a high and large body, requires a higher plant, a large infrastructure investment, and is heavy and inconvenient to carry; while the jaw crusher has the advantages of simple structure, low manufacturing cost, small machine height, easy configuration, and convenient maintenance;

2. Jaw crushing The machine mainly adopts the impact extrusion crushing principle, the jaw plate wears quickly and the maintenance volume is large; the gyratory crusher adopts the inter-material lamination crushing principle, the crushing process is carried out continuously along the annular crushing chamber, and the wear-resistant parts of the jaw crusher have a longer service life;

3. The average energy consumption of medium-sized gyratory crushers is much lower than that of large and medium-sized jaw crushers;

4. Although the equipment price of gyratory crushers is high, its technology is advanced, the maintenance interval is long, and the operating cost is low, but the daily operation and maintenance are more complicated than jaw crushers;

Compared with jaw crushers, gyratory crushers have better performance, but in actual production, excellent performance does not necessarily bring ideal comprehensive benefits to production. For example, in some projects, jaw crushers can meet production needs and are cheap. At this time, gyratory crushers are not an ideal choice.
