1. From the perspective of feed size and discharge size, the feed size is large and the product size is small. Extra coarse or coarse should be selected, and medium or fine should be used conversely. When calculating the feed size, the size of the material is selected based on the size of the large feed port multiplied by 0.85, but the average size of the product is the large feed size divided by the crushing ratio.

3. The longer the liner, the higher the power consumption. Short liner is selected for hard materials, long liner is selected for soft materials. In terms of material distribution, short liner is selected for fine materials, and long liner is selected for coarse materials. In terms of feed particle size distribution, generally, the material smaller than the closed side discharge port cannot exceed 10%. If it exceeds 10%, the power consumption will increase, and the product particle size will be flaky. The increase in moisture content of viscous materials will affect the material throughput. The moisture content of materials generally does not exceed 5%. In terms of power use: standard cone crushers should reach 75%~80%, and short-head cone crushers should reach 80%~85%.

4. In terms of feed particle size distribution of cone crushers, generally, the material smaller than the closed side discharge port cannot exceed 10%. When exceeded, power consumption increases, and the product particle size becomes flaky. Generally speaking, the following issues should be paid attention to during the use of cone crusher, so that the machine can work normally: feeding should be uniform during operation, not biased. Uneven feeding will reduce production capacity. In addition, it should be noted that unbreakable materials cannot be put into the silo, and an iron removal device needs to be installed. Because if unbreakable materials often appear, it will cause a certain degree of damage to the equipment itself.
