One Cooperation, Two Benefits

As a long-established mortar company in Haishu District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, the client has a deep presence in the upstream and downstream industrial chain. The finished products from this project are mainly used to produce mortar, which will be further used in the client's own real estate projects, with some manufactured sand sold externally.

Before the cooperation, the client mainly relied on purchased manufactured sand to make mortar. According to the client's feedback, most of the purchased manufactured sand had a high moisture content, unsuitable for making dry mortar. Furthermore, the quality of each batch of sand and gravel varied, often requiring large-scale batch testing to screen for qualified manufactured sand. Even after testing, the qualified manufactured sand needed to be dried before it could be used to make mortar. The entire process was cumbersome, inefficient, and costly. The annual natural gas cost for drying manufactured sand alone amounted to several million yuan, and the drying process easily generated waste gas and noise pollution, which was detrimental to the project's environmental protection construction, causing significant distress to the client.

In the first half of 2023, the client approached Shibang Group with this problem. After learning about Shibang's "VU Tower-Type Dry Sand Making System," the client was very satisfied with both the quality and cost, and decided to upgrade their existing production line.

After the production line was officially put into operation, tests conducted by the customer's laboratory showed that the manufactured sand produced by the Shibang VU tower-type sand making system met and exceeded the standards for sand used in the customer's mortar plant. The manufactured sand exhibited excellent particle shape and consistent, stable gradation, resulting in excellent mortar production.
