1. Difference in equipment structure
The impact crusher is mainly composed of front impact frame, rear impact frame, impact liner, flip cover device, main shaft, plate hammer, rotor frame, liner, locking block, pressing block and other components.
Vertical shaft crusher is an impact sand making machine, which is mainly composed of seven parts: feed hopper, distributor, vortex crushing chamber, impeller body, main shaft assembly, base, transmission device and motor.
2. Difference in operating principle
The impact crusher operates through a high-speed rotating rotor, driving the plate hammer to continuously hit the material. The material is thrown onto the impact liner, and then rebounds to the plate hammer for secondary crushing. This process is repeated many times, and finally the particle size that meets the discharge is produced.
When the vertical shaft crusher processes stones with medium hardness or above and high corrosiveness, the "stone-on-stone" operation method is adopted, and the discharging particle shape is good; while when processing stones with medium hardness or below and low corrosiveness, the "stone-on-iron" operation method is adopted, which can make the operation efficient and the output larger.
3. The difference in the particle size of the feed and the discharge
The feed particle size of the impact crusher should be larger, but not more than 800mm, and the discharging is relatively coarse, generally between 3-60mm. The feed particle size of the vertical shaft crusher cannot exceed 55mm. The feed of the shaping machine is small, and the discharging is also relatively fine, usually between 0-5mm.
4. The difference in production capacity
The hourly output range of the impact crusher is 30-800 tons. The production capacity of the vertical shaft crusher is divided into two situations. When used for sand making, the hourly output range is between 50-498 tons; when used for shaping, the hourly output range is between 90-585 tons.
5. Which one is better to use, the impact crusher or the shaping machine?
Both have a certain shaping effect on stones. The impact crusher has a medium-fine crushing and shaping effect on stones, and is often in the second stage of crushing. If the output requirement is relatively high and the output particle size is required to be below 60mm, the impact crusher is more suitable. The vertical shaft crusher has a sand-making and shaping effect on stones, and is often in the third stage of crushing. If the output particle size is required to be finer, the shaping machine is a better choice.
