In modern gold mining production, three-stage closed-circuit crushing has become the standard configuration for gold ore crushing. The process first uses a jaw crusher for coarse crushing to crush large pieces of gold ore into smaller sizes; then a single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher is used for medium crushing; and finally a multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher is used to complete the fine crushing operation. This segmented crushing method can not only effectively control the product particle size, but also improve energy utilization efficiency, creating favorable conditions for subsequent grinding processes.

The grinding process adopts a two-stage one-closed process, and the particle size control is achieved through a spiral classifier. After the 0-12mm gold powder enters the mill for grinding, the unqualified materials will be returned for further processing to ensure that all raw materials meet the ideal fineness requirements. This closed-circuit design greatly improves the grinding efficiency and saves energy consumption costs.


The beneficiation process varies according to the characteristics of the ore. Common mineral processing methods include: 1) traditional gravity separation and flotation processes; 2) chemical extraction methods such as amalgamation and cyanidation; 3) new processes including resin slurry method and carbon slurry adsorption method. For complex ores, a combined process is usually used to improve the recovery rate. For example, a gold mine adopts a combined gravity separation-flotation-cyanidation process to increase the total recovery rate of gold to more than 93%.


The core equipment configured in the production line includes: C6X series jaw crusher, HPT multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, HST single-cylinder cone crusher, etc. These equipment have the characteristics of large processing capacity, low energy consumption, and easy maintenance. Taking a gold mine with a daily output of 300 tons as an example, the configuration scheme of HJ high-energy jaw crusher + HPT multi-cylinder cone crusher is adopted, which not only meets the production demand, but also controls the energy consumption within a reasonable range.
