Potassium feldspar ore is a relatively widely distributed and abundant source of non-water-soluble potassium known to exist.
The potassium in potassium feldspar can be successfully produced into potash fertilizer by sintering. The basic principle of the sintering process is that limestone and coal are used as raw materials, crushed and shaped, and then calcined in a vertical kiln to convert the potassium oxide in them into a water-soluble substance. This method of production has lower production costs, but it is more energy intensive.

The process flow of potassium feldspar is as follows:
Potassium feldspar raw material: The raw material is first obtained from the potassium feldspar ore, ensuring that it has a low iron content and is of good quality.
Hand screening: The raw material is screened manually to remove impurities and non-conforming stones.
Crushing: Coarse and fine crushing operations are carried out using a jaw crusher. C6X series jaw crushers are usually driven by an electric motor, which feeds power to the pulley through the SPC belt, thereby driving the eccentric shaft to rotate, causing the movable jaw body to swing back and forth and up and down. During the volume change of the crushing chamber, the material is squeezed or split and then discharged from the discharge opening in a continuous cycle to realize the crushing operation.
Grinding: In order to prevent the contamination of potassium feldspar by iron during processing, appropriate grinding equipment is selected, such as MTW European mill or LM vertical roller mill, ultra-fine vertical roller mill, etc. These equipment can finely grind the potassium feldspar to achieve the required particle size requirements.
Classifying: Classifying the material after grinding to remove too coarse or too fine particles to ensure the quality and uniformity of the product.
Dewatering: The graded material is dewatered to reduce its water content for further treatment and processing.
Finished product: After the above treatment, the final product of high purity potash fertilizer is obtained.

In the powder making process, the LM series vertical mill is used for powder making operation. The equipment consists of grinding roll assembly, grinding disc assembly, hydraulic station, drive arm assembly, powder selector, main reducer, motor, body, main reducer lubrication station, hydraulic station and PLC electric control cabinet. The main motor drives the rotation of the grinding disc through the reducer, the hot air enters the body of the vertical mill from the air inlet, and the material falls in the middle of the grinding disc from the lower material outlet. Under the action of centrifugal force, the material moves evenly and passes through the grinding roller channel area on the grinding disc. Under the grinding rollers, large pieces of material are directly crushed and fine particles are squeezed to form a material bed for inter-particle crushing. Finally, the required size of material is discharged from the discharge port.
