Iron Ore Processing and Production Process
Iron ore is a hard rock with a Mohs hardness of approximately 6.5. Common iron ore types include magnetite, hematite, and siderite. The iron ore processing and production process primarily includes crushing, screening, grinding, grading, magnetic separation, flotation, gravity separation, roasting and reduction, and filtration and dehydration. The specific process is as follows:
Iron Ore Crushing Production Line
Raw Material Handling: Iron ore is fed into a vibrating feeder via a dump truck.
Coarse Crushing: The vibrating feeder uniformly feeds large lumps of iron ore (feed size ≤ 1200mm) into a jaw crusher for coarse crushing, with an output size of 10-350mm.

Secondary and Fine Crushing: The coarsely crushed iron ore is conveyed via a belt conveyor to a cone crusher for secondary crushing, with an output size of 5-60mm.
Screening: The secondary crushed iron ore is screened by a vibrating screen to control the dirt and stone dust content and select finished products of various specifications.
Advantages of Iron Ore Processing Projects
Simple process configuration: The production process is streamlined and the equipment is easy to operate.
Low investment cost: The initial investment is relatively small, resulting in low production costs.
Environmentally friendly: Environmentally friendly equipment is used to reduce pollution during the production process.

High return on investment: Low equipment maintenance, high production efficiency, and significant economic benefits.
Iron ore is a key raw material for steel production. It is an economically viable mineral aggregate containing elemental iron or iron compounds. Processed iron ore is widely used in various applications, including construction beams, locomotives, automobiles, shipbuilding, aircraft, and aerospace equipment. As a professional mining equipment manufacturer, Shibang Group is committed to providing customers with efficient, environmentally friendly, and energy-saving iron ore processing equipment. Our equipment offers superior performance and is suitable for a variety of complex environments, helping you achieve more efficient and environmentally friendly production.
