Lignite is the mineral coal with the lowest degree of coalisation, brown or brownish-black in appearance, with relatively low carbon content, high volatile matter, unbonded, easy to burn, most of which is lustreless, with a true density of 1.10-1.40g/c

Primary humic acid is the main characteristic component that distinguishes lignite from other coal types.
Lignite is mostly used as fuel for power generation, as raw material for gasification and boiler fuel, some can be used to make sulfonated coal or activated carbon, and some can be used as raw material for extracting lignite wax.
China's lignite resources are mainly distributed in North China, accounting for more than 75% of the country's geological reserves of lignite, as shown in Table 1, of which the eastern part of Inner Mongolia has the largest reserves. Southwest China is the second largest lignite base in China after North China, and its reserves account for about 12.5 per cent of the national lignite reserves, most of which are distributed in Yunnan Province. However, almost all of the lignite in the Southwest Region is younger lignite from the Tertiary Period, while most of the lignite in the North China Region is older lignite from the Jurassic Period. The quantity of lignite resources in the four major zones of Northeast, Central-South, Northwest and East China are all small.
Lignite Processing Flow
Firstly, lignite is crushed by jaw crusher until it is crushed into suitable particle size, then it is fed into Raymond mill or ultrafine mill through belt conveyor, etc. The lignite is ground and graded, qualified powder is collected after passing through the grader, and the unqualified powder is reground, and finally it is fed into lignite dryer for drying, and then the qualified finished products are packed. The whole process equipment runs smoothly and plays excellent.
