Molybdenum is a kind of metal element discovered relatively late, with the advantages of high strength, high melting point, strong corrosion resistance and so on, widely used in various industrial fields. China's molybdenum beneficiation method is mainly flotation, in the molybdenum ore beneficiation process needs to be used in the main equipment are jaw crusher, feeder, ball mill, spiral classifier, flotation machine, high-yield concentrator and so on. In actual production, users should strictly follow the following process flow for molybdenum ore sorting operations.

1、Crushing

First of all, after the natural molybdenum ore is mined, it should be crushed by jaw crusher for preliminary crushing, that is, coarse crushing, and then crushed again by fine jaw crusher to reach the feed size requirement of ball mill, and then sent to the silo by elevator.

2.Grinding

The molybdenum ore particles that meet the requirements of particle size are fed into the ball mill by the feeder to carry out the grinding process until the particle size of the material meets the production requirements of the next process.

3、Washing and grading

After grinding, the molybdenum ore fines will enter the spiral classifier for washing and grading, the principle of spiral classifier is that solid particles with different specific gravity will have different settling speeds in the liquid.

4、Flotation

The molybdenum ore material processed by the spiral classifier should be sent to the flotation machine for flotation operation, in this process, the corresponding flotation chemicals should be added, so that the required substances and other minerals to realize the separation.

5、Concentration to remove water

The last step is to remove the water in the concentrate after flotation through the concentration process of high-yield thickener to meet the standard requirements.
