Second, not just any lubricant can be.

1, the volume of mining machinery and the volume of the tank are small, the amount of lubricant installed is also less, the work of the oil temperature is high, which requires lubricants have better thermal stability and oxidation resistance.

2, because of the harsh environment of the mine, coal dust, rock dust, moisture, lubricants are inevitably contaminated by these impurities, so the requirements of the lubricant to have a better rust, corrosion, anti-emulsification properties; requirements of the lubricant when contaminated, the performance changes will not be too large, that is, the sensitivity to pollution to be small.

3, open-pit mining machinery, winter and summer temperature changes are very large, some areas of the temperature difference between day and night is also large, so the requirements of the lubricating oil viscosity with the temperature change should be small, both to avoid high temperature, oil viscosity becomes too low, so can not form a lubricating film, should not play a lubricating effect, but also to avoid low temperature viscosity is too high, so that the starting, running difficulties.

4, for some mining machinery and equipment, especially in mines prone to fire, explosion accidents in the use of some machinery, require the use of flame-resistant lubricants (anti-flammable liquid), can not use combustible mineral oil.

5, the requirements of the lubricant on the seals of the adaptability to be good, so as to avoid damage to the seals.
