1. Feed Hopper

The feed hopper is generally cylindrical and its main function is to convey material from the feeder into the sand making machine. Wear-resistant rings are installed on the feed hopper for excellent wear resistance, preventing uncrushed material from being damaged by friction.

2. Separator

The separator's main function is to screen the crushed material, separating qualified fine material. Unqualified material continues to enter the crusher under the action of the separator until it reaches the required fineness.

3. Vortex Crushing Chamber

The vortex crushing chamber is generally constructed as an annular space formed by two upper and lower cylinders. The impeller rotates at high speed within the vortex crushing chamber, where material can accumulate and form a lining. The crushing process primarily occurs within the vortex crushing chamber.

4. Impeller Body

The impeller body is generally mounted on both ends of a bearing. Through high-speed rotation, it evenly distributes material from the center of the impeller to various locations, creating strong impact and friction on the material, thereby crushing it.

5. Main Shaft Assembly

The main shaft assembly is mounted on the base, transmitting power from the motor via a V-belt and supporting the impeller's rotation. The main shaft assembly consists of a bearing seat, main shaft, and bearings.

6. Base

The base is typically mounted on a bracket or directly on the base. The vortex crushing chamber, main shaft assembly, motor, and transmission are all mounted on the base. The base is constructed with a central quadrangular prism space. The center of the quadrangular prism space houses the main shaft assembly, with discharge channels formed on either side. The motor is located in the longitudinal section of the base.

7. Transmission, Motor, and Bracket

The motors are mounted on both sides of the main shaft assembly and connected to the main shaft pulley via V-belt pulleys. This ensures balanced forces on both sides of the main shaft and eliminates excessive torque. The sand making machine can be equipped with or without brackets depending on the installation environment.
