1. Related to the hardness of the feed

Generally, the harder the stone is, the more difficult it is to be crushed in the crusher, and the more severe the wear on the wearing parts. For the same fineness requirement, the harder the stone is, the slower the crushing speed. Therefore, when crushing different materials, accessories of corresponding materials should be selected according to their properties. Doing so can effectively reduce the wear of accessories and thus extend their service life.

2. Related to the moisture content of the material

The moisture content of the material inside the crusher will directly affect the difficulty of its crushing. When the moisture content of the material is high, it is easy to adhere to the inside of the equipment, resulting in blockage during the material feeding process, which not only reduces the crushing efficiency, but also increases the difficulty of equipment maintenance. At the same time, an environment with high moisture content will accelerate the rusting speed of the internal parts of the crusher. Once the parts are worn, they are prone to breakage and other faults. Therefore, for materials with high humidity, it is recommended to carry out appropriate drying treatment first to reduce their moisture content before crushing to ensure the smooth progress of the crushing process and the stable operation of the equipment.

3. Related to the requirements of finished product particles

The smaller the finished product particle size, the longer the crushing process takes and the more serious the equipment wear. Because fine-grained materials require more crushing times and a more delicate crushing process. On the contrary, if the finished product particle size requirement is large, the crushing process is relatively simple, and the wear in production will be relatively light.

4. Related to the material composition

If the feed contains more fine powder, it will affect the crushing capacity, because the fine powder will affect the conveying process, and if the feed contains impurities, it will also affect the crushing capacity of the crusher. Both of these situations will make the crushing process longer and increase the wear of vulnerable parts.
