1. Too much or uneven feeding

When the ore is too much and exceeds the load of the cone crusher, the equipment cannot crush the material in the crushing chamber in time, resulting in material accumulation and abnormal vibration. When the feeding is uneven, such as concentrated feeding on one side (one-side crushing), or large materials occupy one side and fine materials occupy one side, it will cause machine vibration and uneven force on the moving cone of the cone crusher, seriously affecting the service life.

2. Material blockage or entry of unbreakable objects

When the ore content in the crusher's feed is too much and wet, the discharge port of the crusher is small, causing the discharge port to be frequently blocked, resulting in frequent vibration of the crusher.

In addition, when non-crushable objects such as scrap parts such as iron and steel and large pieces of ore enter the crushing chamber, the load of the crusher will surge, causing vibration, and even shaft breakage and tooth breaking. At this time, it is necessary to stop the machine for inspection and clean up hard debris in time.

3. The bearing temperature is too high

In summer, the weather is hot and the temperature is rising. Many equipment will have high temperature problems. The high bearing temperature of the cone crusher will also cause vibration of the equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to frequently check whether the lubricating oil pipe is blocked and whether the selected grease is appropriate. If the lubricating oil is too dirty, it needs to be replaced in time to prevent impurities from entering the bearing.

4. The spring tension is not enough

If a spring cone crusher is used, pay attention to the tension of the spring. The spring installed around the frame is the safety device of the crusher. When the crusher enters the unbreakable object, the support ring and adjustment ring supported on the spring try to lift up and compress the spring, thereby increasing the discharge port, so that the unbreakable object is discharged from the body, and avoiding damage to the machine parts. The tension of the spring has a great influence on the normal operation of the crusher.

5. The equipment is not installed properly or deviates from the original position

For example, for a multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, the horizontal vibration is required to be within +2mm and the vertical vibration is within +1mm during operation. If the installation surface does not meet the requirements, it will cause abnormal vibration such as frame swing.

It has two installation surfaces, one is the foundation installation surface, that is, the installation plane of the vibration damping block; the other is the installation plane of the frame. The flatness of the two installation planes should be within 2mm. If it does not meet the requirements, it can be adjusted with a steel plate.

In addition, after a long period of operation, the secondary concrete layer between the cone crusher body and the foundation will become loose, and the pad iron during the original installation leveling will run away from the original position due to vibration, so that the body is in an unlevel state and the vibration will be aggravated. Therefore, the foundation level should be regularly aligned according to the crusher body installation quality standard to keep the body in good operating condition.

6. Improper installation of the coupling causes eccentricity

During assembly, the coupling between the horizontal drive shaft and the motor shaft of the cone crusher should be aligned and installed according to the standard to avoid vibration caused by eccentricity.

In addition, if the drive shaft speed is too fast, it will also cause vibration.

7. Too large or too small gear meshing clearance

The rationality of the gear meshing clearance will also affect the vibration of the crusher. It should be assembled according to the standard top clearance and side clearance. It should not be too large or too small, otherwise it will cause vibration of the crusher.

8. Wear of eccentric sleeve

During the operation of the cone crusher, the eccentric sleeve drives the main shaft or moving cone to provide crushing force. The gap between the inner and outer surfaces of the eccentric sleeve and the main shaft and the frame bushing ensures that a stable lubricating oil film is formed between the inner and outer relative sliding surfaces of the eccentric sleeve to ensure normal operation. Once the eccentric shaft and its related parts are worn, it may cause equipment vibration and affect work.

9. The clearance between the main shaft and the cone bushing is not appropriate

If the clearance between the main shaft and the cone bushing of the cone crusher is too large, it will cause unstable operation, vibrate the machine body and generate noise, while if the clearance is too small, it is easy to cause the shaft to stick.

10. The matching surface between the bowl-shaped support frame and the frame is loose

The bowl-shaped support frame is the supporting device of the crushing cone. The good technical condition of the matching surface between it and the frame is of great significance to ensure the normal operation of the crusher. Due to the long-term operation of the cone crusher, the accuracy of this matching surface decreases, and the loose matching surface causes vibration. To solve this problem, the matching surface between the bowl-shaped support frame and the frame needs to be restored according to the original size standard.
