Recently, several key projects in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, have made new progress. Among them, the Jiangjuntun Southern Mining Area Flux Dolomite Mine Project of Shaoguan Mining Investment Baotie Mining Co., Ltd. has held a groundbreaking ceremony, while the Hongweikeng Solvent Limestone Mine Project of Baojiu (Shaoguan) New Materials Co., Ltd. is expected to commence trial operation by the end of December this year.

These two projects have a total investment of 1.718 billion yuan and a planned annual production scale of 8.5 million tons, of which the annual output of construction limestone is 3.47 million tons.

Jiangjuntun Southern Mining Area Flux Dolomite Mine Project

The Jiangjuntun Southern Mining Area Flux Dolomite Mine Project of Shaoguan Mining Investment Baotie Mining Co., Ltd. is located in Longti Village, Tielong Town, Wengyuan County. This project is a key provincial and municipal project jointly invested by Zhongnan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and Shaoguan Industrial and Trade Development Group Co., Ltd., with a total investment of approximately 458 million yuan. The project has recoverable reserves of 39.9833 million tons, with a designed annual production capacity of 3 million tons, including 930,000 tons of dolomite for flux and 2.07 million tons of limestone for building aggregate. After the project is put into operation, it will effectively guarantee a stable supply of flux ore for Zhongnan Mining's production and promote local economic and social development.

The project leader stated that construction is only the first step. The subsequent work will adhere to the requirements of high-quality development, building a safe, environmentally friendly, green, and energy-saving smart mine, striving to make the project a model of harmonious win-win between the mine and the local government.

The Hongweikeng Solvent Limestone Mine Project, developed by Baojiu (Shaoguan) New Materials Co., Ltd., is located in Longgui Town. Currently, infrastructure construction is underway, and the production line is expected to be put into trial operation by the end of December this year. The project has a total investment of 1.26 billion yuan, with resources of approximately 139 million tons and a planned land grant term of 24.5 years. Upon completion, the project is expected to produce 5.5 million tons annually, including 2.5 million tons of flux dolomite, 1.6 million tons of flux limestone, and 1.4 million tons of construction limestone, generating over 20 million yuan in tax revenue annually.

The project leader stated that the project construction adheres to the development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," and implements the principle of "promoting the value of mineral resources assets in Shaoguan City and creating a green development model for Shaoguan." It strives to explore a technically feasible, economically sound, high-quality, and efficient mining development path to contribute to Shaoguan's high-quality development.
