Vermiculite is a layered silicate mineral, rich in magnesium and iron. Its raw ore resembles mica in appearance and is mainly formed from black (gold) mica that has undergone hydrothermal alteration or weathering.

The processing process of vermiculite is as follows:

Crushing: The large pieces of vermiculite are initially crushed and processed by a fine jaw breaker (usually in the range of 5-20mm), and then sent into the silo from below by a bucket elevator to be used.

Grinding: The crushed vermiculite material is evenly and orderly fed into the main machine (MTW series European version mill) through the electromagnetic feeder for grinding processing. As the core equipment of the production line, the main machine has the advantages of high capacity, safety and reliability.

Powder selection (collection): The vermiculite after grinding is fully selected by the powder selector, and the vermiculite powder with suitable particle size enters the finished product bin through the pipeline device, and then can be directly loaded into the powder tanker for packing and collection.

After grinding and processing, vermiculite powder can be adjusted between 80-325 mesh according to the demand, and is widely used in many fields such as chemical industry, horticulture, refrigerant, fire extinguisher, automobile, aircraft, paint, outdoor advertising, filter, etc. Therefore, vermiculite powder is a promising investment project.

After crushing, the qualified materials are continuously fed into the host mill chamber for grinding through the frequency conversion belt feeder in an even and quantitative manner. After grinding, the materials are sent to the powder separator by the fan airflow for classification. Under the action of the analyzer, the materials that do not meet the fineness requirements re-enter the grinding chamber for grinding again, while the qualified materials enter the cyclone collector with the airflow for separation and collection, and the discharge device discharges the finished powder. The separated airflow enters the fan through the return air duct at the top of the cyclone collector. The system operates under positive and negative pressure and is equipped with a pulse dust collector to achieve an environmentally friendly production process.
