Lime is made of limestone, dolomite, chalk, shells and other products with high calcium carbonate content, calcined at 900 to 1100 degrees Celsius. Lime is the earliest cementitious material applied by mankind. Lime has a wide range of applications in civil engineering and is also used for medicinal purposes in China.
Active Lime Uses
Lime powder is widely used in papermaking, plastics, plastic film, chemical fibre, rubber, adhesive, sealant, daily chemicals, cosmetics, building materials, coatings, paints, inks, putty, sealing wax, putty, felt layer packaging, pharmaceuticals, food, feed, and its role is: increase product volume, reduce costs, improve processing performance, improve dimensional stability, reinforcement or semi-reinforcement, improve printing performance, improve the physical properties, etc.
Lime grinding process
First of all, first of all, limestone, dolomite, chalk, shells and other raw materials with high calcium carbonate content, calcined at 900 ~ 1100 ℃ to get lime. If the size of lime obtained after calcination is higher than the feeding size of lime mill, it will be crushed by jaw crusher or hammer crusher. After crushing, the material enters into the lime mill production system, and the operations of grinding and grading are completed automatically in the mill. Qualified lime powder is released by discharge valve and packaged finished products.
