Silica Characteristics

The more pure the chemical composition of silica, the higher the SiO2 content, the higher its refractoriness. Excellent silica should be a dense block, sometimes shell-shaped or scale-like cross-section, no obvious layer structure, no inclusions between the layer and layer, and not with limestone shell.

Silica application

1, metallurgical industry for the manufacture of acid refractory bricks, pure silica can be used for quartz glass or refining monocrystalline silicon.

2, the chemical industry for the preparation of silicon compounds and silicates, can also be used as filler for sulfuric acid tower.

3, building materials industry for glass, ceramics, silicate cement, etc., can be used as industrial silicon and other ferroalloy smelting raw materials.
