The Lianghekou Hydropower Station, located on the main stream of the Yalong River, is the first of six major hydropower bases in southwest my country to enter operation, known as the "largest hybrid pumped-storage project in China."
This mega-project, boasting the world's largest high-slope complex and the highest flood discharge head in China, fully demonstrated the technological prowess of Shibang Group. To ensure the quality of the 43 million cubic meter dam fill, the Shibang VSI6X vertical shaft impact crusher, with its high performance, advanced configuration, and high stability, and a stable output of 600 tons per hour, became the "steel" of the dam's strength. The outstanding performance of the Shibang VSI6X sand making machine in the Lianghekou project not only ensured the project's on-schedule commissioning, but also provided reliable equipment support for the green and intensive construction of large-scale pumped-storage projects, and accumulated valuable experience in hydropower construction under complex geological conditions.
Project Overview
Raw Materials: Metamorphic Sandstone Intercalated with Slate
Production Capacity: 600t/h
Equipment: VSI6X Sand Making Machine
Unwavering in our original aspiration, we support China's energy-strengthening strategy with unwavering strength.
From the towering dam at Shuangjiangkou to the clean energy output at Lianghekou, Shibang Group has consistently aligned itself with China's hydropower sector. Throughout my country's historical transition from "following" to "leading" hydropower development, Shibang Group, driven by innovation, has translated technological breakthroughs into practical engineering practices, developing a series of replicable and scalable solutions for high-altitude, high-difficulty hydropower projects.
From the southwest canyons to the southeast coast, from the peaks of the plateau to the banks of rivers, the rise of hydropower projects is charting China's grand blueprint for progress from an energy powerhouse to an energy superpower, contributing a continuous stream of green energy to achieving the "dual carbon" goals and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
