The project's iron ore grade is 7-8%. In 2014, the iron ore market declined. To reduce production costs and improve economic efficiency, the client requested Shibang to provide a reasonable technical upgrade plan. After a thorough analysis of the existing crushing process and equipment, Shibang recommended that the client replace the old-style spring cone crusher with an HPT multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher. This would reduce the feed fineness for grinding operations and decrease wear and maintenance costs, thereby lowering the overall production line cost.

After the upgrade, the production effect was very significant. The fineness of the crushed ore decreased from -14mm to -8mm, greatly improving grinding efficiency and reducing overall production costs, resulting in a significant improvement in the client's economic benefits.
