A crushing production line for colored lithium ore in Xinjiang was not meeting requirements, so the client collaborated with SBM Group to upgrade the line.  The details are as follows:

This Xinjiang client processes lithium ore (one of the main components being lepidolite). Traditional methods typically use high-pressure roller mills in the ultra-fine crushing stage. However, high-pressure roller mills produce a very high percentage of -0.5mm material, which is very unfavorable for the gravity separation of lepidolite. Therefore, the client wanted to find an alternative solution to reduce the -0.5mm particle size content in the crushed lepidolite product.

After receiving the client's request, SBM, considering the client's production needs, the special material properties, and the subsequent beneficiation process requirements, recommended using an impact crusher to replace the high-pressure roller mill and conducted material processing tests for the client. The final experimental data showed that the impact crusher reduced the -0.5mm product content by approximately 43% compared to the high-pressure roller mill. The results of using the SBM impact crusher to replace the high-pressure roller mill far exceeded expectations, and the client was very satisfied with the technical modification plan and SBM's professional service.
