Gangue is often an important reason for the increase of the ash content of coal. Therefore, active measures should be taken in the production process to reduce the mixing of gangue, reduce the gangue content and improve the quality of raw coal. The thin rock layer in the middle of the coal seam is called entrapment rock or entrapment gangue. In coal mining, the amount of gangue larger than 50 mm is called gangue rate as a percentage of all coal production.

Gangue crushing process

Gangue hardness and density should be high. Crushing gangue, need to go through two crushing process, and other ore process is different (general ore only need a crushing link). Firstly, the gangue is fed into the jaw crusher by the feeder, and then crushed by the movable and fixed jaws of the equipment which squeeze the gangue. The crushed gangue is screened by circular vibrating screen. Then the gangue will be sent to the impact crusher for secondary crushing, the crushed gangue of uniform size, reasonable gangue that is the finished product, the gangue does not meet the requirements of the gangue to return to the equipment to continue crushing.
