Steel slag after crushing, screening and other processing, can be used as an important industrial raw materials, saving resources and reducing pollution.
The sources of steel slag can be roughly divided into three kinds:
1, by the steel material in the Si, Mn, P, Fe and other elements of the oxidation product that is "steel slag";
2, the smelting process to join the slag material that is "steel slag";
3, the smelting process is eroded furnace lining refractory material that is "steel slag" and so on.
Steel slag is mainly composed of calcium, iron, silicon, magnesium and a small amount of aluminium, manganese, phosphorus and other oxides. The main minerals are tricalcium silicate, dicalcium silicate, calcium and magnesium olivine, calcium and magnesium rose pyroxene, calcium iron aluminate and silicon, magnesium, iron, manganese, phosphorus oxides formed by the solid fusion, but also contains a small amount of free calcium oxide and metal iron, fluorapatite and so on. Steel slag processing equipment configuration

Feeding equipment: vibrating feeder, also known as feeder, can be uniform, continuous, quantitative material to the processing equipment, simple structure, easy to operate, to avoid the problem of clogging of the inlet.
Introduction of steel slag processing process
Under the action of vibrating feeder, the piled up steel slag will be evenly and continuously sent to jaw crusher for coarse crushing, the steel slag after coarse crushing passes through the vibrating screen, the qualified one enters into the impact crusher or cone crusher for medium and fine crushing, and the unqualified one returns to the upper level to continue crushing, the same steel slag after crushing by the impact crusher or cone crusher is qualified to be outputted through the conveyor, that is, it's a finished product, and the unqualified one The unqualified steel slag will be returned to the upper level for further crushing.
The use of steel slag
1、Steel slag is widely used in road bedding, structural layer, especially suitable for asphalt mix aggregate pavement layer. Such as steel slag road construction, with high strength, wear resistance and skid resistance, good durability.
2, in Western European countries with steel slag as fertiliser has a long history. Calcium, silicon, manganese and trace elements in steel slag are fertiliser, can be used as slag fertiliser applied to acidic soil.
3, China is also using steel slag to produce a small amount of steel slag cement, mostly used in converter steel slag mixed with about 50% blast furnace granulated slag, about 10% gypsum, grinding no clinker steel slag cement, or about 15% cement clinker instead of steel slag grinding less clinker cement.
4, steel slag as cement raw material, baking ferrate cement, can save energy, in addition, steel slag can also make bricks, tiles, carbonated building materials.
