Single-cylinder cone crusher: It is similar to the spring cone crusher. The main shaft and the moving cone are combined together and are supported by the bowl-shaped tile. Therefore, the main shaft and the moving cone are equivalent to the base support, and the eccentric sleeve drives the main shaft to provide crushing force.

Multi-cylinder cone crusher: Its main shaft is short and thick, and its diameter can be designed to be very large. It stands directly on the frame (not in the eccentric sleeve), and is directly supported by the frame. It provides a high bearing capacity, and the eccentric sleeve directly drives the moving cone to provide crushing force.

The difference in the mechanical structure of single-cylinder and multi-cylinder cone crushers determines that the frame forces of the two are also different when crushing ore. The frame of the former bears tensile stress, while the frame of the latter bears weakened tensile stress. Therefore, the multi-cylinder cone crusher has advantages in frame structure.
